Summary: We collect only what we need to run your internship, never sell your data to anyone, and store everything securely on Supabase. Payment data goes straight to Cashfree — we never see your card details.

TriLabs (“TriLabs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an MSME-registered technology company operating under the name TriLabs AI & Tech Solutions, registered under the Government of India's Udyam Registration scheme. We operate the platform accessible at trilabs.in, which provides AI internship programs, technology education, and software development services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share your personal information when you use our platform, enroll in our internship programs, or contact us for services. By using trilabs.in, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you register or enroll on our platform, we collect:

●Full name — to issue your offer letter, certificate, and letter of recommendation
●Email address — to send enrollment confirmations, certificates, and platform communications
●Phone number — for enrollment verification and important account notifications
●College name and city — to understand our student community and personalize your experience
●Password — stored in encrypted form by Supabase Auth; we never store or access plain-text passwords

When you submit a project inquiry through our website, we additionally collect:

●Company name (optional)
●Project type and budget range
●Project description

2.2 Information Generated by Your Use

When you use the TriLabs learning platform, we automatically record:

●Task submissions — the prompts you write in task editors and their scores
●Progress data — which tasks you have completed, your scores, and your series completion status
●Enrollment records — which series you enrolled in, on what date, and at what price
●Certificate data — the unique certificate code, issue date, and series completed

2.3 Payment Information

We use Cashfree Payments to process all transactions. We do not store, access, or process your card number, UPI ID, net banking credentials, or any other payment instrument details. We store only the Cashfree order ID as a transaction reference for enrollment verification.

2.4 Technical Information

We may collect standard technical data including your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited — used solely for platform security monitoring and to prevent abuse.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect exclusively for the following purposes:

How We Share Your Information

Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform. Each processes only the data necessary for their function:

●Supabase (database and authentication) — stores your profile, enrollment, and progress data
●Cashfree Payments (payment processing) — processes your payment transactions
●Resend (email delivery) — delivers your certificates, confirmations, and notifications
●Netlify (hosting) — hosts the platform infrastructure

Certificate Verification

Your name, series completed, and certificate issue date are publicly accessible via your certificate's unique verification URL (trilabs.in/verify/[code]). This is intentional — it allows employers and institutions to verify your credential. Your contact details, scores, and other personal information are not visible on this page.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority under applicable Indian law.

We never sell, rent, trade, or transfer your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure, which is hosted on secure cloud servers. We implement the following security measures:

✓Row-Level Security (RLS) on all database tables — you can only access your own data
✓Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS across all platform pages
✓Encrypted password storage via Supabase Auth (bcrypt)
✓API key isolation — sensitive keys are never exposed to the browser
✓Rate limiting on sensitive endpoints to prevent brute force attacks

While we take all reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely immune to security risks. We commit to notifying affected users within 72 hours of discovering any data breach that affects personal information.

●Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management (provided by Supabase). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent is required beyond our standard cookie notice, as these are functionally necessary.

Children's Privacy

Our platform is intended for college students (typically 18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, please obtain parental consent before registering. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our platform evolves. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
