Refund Policy

Clear, fair, and transparent. We believe in accessible education — and that means no-risk enrollment.

Our Commitment: TriLabs prices our internships at ₹199 per series because we believe in accessible AI education. We want every student to enroll with confidence. This policy explains exactly when refunds are available — no jargon, no hidden clauses.

General Refund Eligibility

1.1 Eligible for Full Refund

You are entitled to a 100% refund if:
  • You have not started any task in the series you enrolled in (zero task submissions), AND
  • You request the refund within 7 days of your enrollment date

This gives you a full week to explore the platform, review the content structure, and decide if it's right for you — with no risk.

1.2 Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • You have submitted one or more tasks in the series
  • More than 7 days have passed since your enrollment date
  • You completed the series and received your certificate
  • Your account was suspended due to policy violations
  • You cite reasons such as "not enough time," "changed my mind," or "found a free alternative" after starting the internship
  • You purchased the wrong series — in this case, contact us and we will help you transfer to the correct series

1.3 Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds for partially completed series. The internship is a complete learning experience — partial access does not entitle you to partial reimbursement.

Technical Payment Issues

If a payment was deducted from your account but your enrollment was not confirmed (i.e., you paid but cannot access the course):

  • Contact us within 48 hours at hello@trilabs.in with subject line “Payment Issue”
  • Include your payment reference number or screenshot
  • We will investigate within 24 hours
  • If the payment was received by us and enrollment failed due to a technical error, we will either activate your enrollment immediately or issue a full refund within 5–7 business days

Duplicate Payments

If you were charged more than once for the same series enrollment due to a technical error:

  • Contact us at hello@trilabs.in with both payment reference numbers
  • We will verify and refund the duplicate charge within 5–7 business days

Cashfree Refund Processing

All refunds are processed through Cashfree Payments, our payment partner. Once we approve your refund:

  • Refunds to UPI: 1–3 business days
  • Refunds to debit/credit cards: 5–7 business days
  • Refunds to net banking: 3–5 business days
These timelines are governed by Cashfree and your bank — not by TriLabs. We initiate the refund within 24 hours of approval.

Certificate and Document Policy

  • Certificates, letters of recommendation, and offer letters that have already been issued are not revoked due to a refund
  • However, if a refund is granted and enrollment is cancelled, access to the platform content is revoked
  • TriLabs reserves the right to flag the certificate in our verification system if a refund was obtained through fraudulent means

Refund for Technology Services (Client Projects)

For clients who engaged TriLabs for web development, mobile app, or AI automation services:

  • Discovery/Scoping Phase (before any development begins): Full refund if project has not started
  • Development in Progress: Refund proportional to work not yet completed, as agreed in the project scope document
  • Project Delivered: No refund once the final deliverable has been handed over and approved
  • Disputes about service quality must be raised within 14 days of project delivery
Specific refund terms for individual projects will be outlined in the project agreement document signed before work begins.

How to Request a Refund

Send an email

Email hello@trilabs.in with subject line: “Refund Request — [Your Name]”

Include these details

Your registered email address, the series you enrolled in, your Cashfree payment reference number (from your enrollment confirmation email), and the reason for your refund request.

We review within 2 business days

We will respond with either an approval, a request for more information, or a decline with explanation.

Refund processed within 24 hours

If approved, we process the refund immediately via Cashfree.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate to:

  • Email: hello@trilabs.in with subject “Refund Dispute”
  • We will review escalated disputes within 5 business days with a senior review

If unresolved, disputes may be raised with the appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India).

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy. Any changes will be communicated on this page with an updated effective date. Refund requests are governed by the policy in effect at the time of your enrollment.
